Everest or Annapurna: which should you sell first?
The two classic Nepal regions compared honestly — access, cost, difficulty and which clients each one suits.
Both regions deliver a world-class experience, but they suit different clients. A quick honest comparison from our operations desk.
Everest region
The name sells itself, and Everest Base Camp remains the most requested itinerary we run. Access is by the Lukla flight (weather-dependent — always build in a buffer day), teahouses are busier, and costs run higher. Best for clients who want the iconic trek and can handle 12–14 days.
Annapurna region
Road access from Pokhara makes Annapurna more flexible and slightly cheaper, with shorter options (Poon Hill, 4–5 days) that suit first-timers and families. Scenery is arguably more varied — villages, terraced hills and high passes.
Our advice to agents
Lead with Annapurna for first-time Nepal clients and shorter holidays; keep Everest for bucket-list travellers with time. Or ask us — we will match the itinerary to the client, not the other way around.
