The planning timeline: when to book what for Nepal

A month-by-month checklist for agents — flights, permits, peak-season beds and the deadlines that actually matter.

Nepal rewards early planning, especially for autumn departures. Here is the timeline we work to with our partner agencies.

4–6 months out

Confirm the itinerary and group size. For October–November treks, this is when good teahouse beds and domestic flight seats should be locked.

2–3 months out

Passport scans to us for permits; international flights booked; insurance checked (make sure it covers trekking altitude).

1 month out

Final rooming list, dietary notes and arrival details. We send the day-by-day trip notes and packing list for you to forward.

On arrival

Airport pickup, trip briefing, and a WhatsApp group with your clients, your office and our operations team — so everyone sees the same updates.
